This also includes any restrictions/guidelines from its suppliers such as ski and non-ski resorts, lodging properties, transportation companies (includes airlines and bus companies), etc. ***
Ski Klub International Covid-19 Restrictions and Guidelines - Since skiing and snowboarding are activites done outside, the risk of contracting the coronavirus is reduced, however, everyone still needs to be cautious and sensible. In addition to Jay Peak & Sugarloaf resort's restrictions and guidelines, below are some common sense steps to keep you, your family/friends safe & healthy at both resorts.
*** Currently, CDC recommends DELAY travel until you are fully vaccinated. Click HERE for more information on vaccination and other travel restrictions & guidelines. ***
1) In regards to lodging, only condos are being used at both resorts.
2) Family and friends will be required to fill their own condo units. Ski Klub will NO longer pair single individuals or total stangers together as roommates to fill any lodging requirements.
3) In regards to lodging, make sure you only fill your condo with your immediate family members in the same household or close friends you know very well and socialize on a regular basis. Covid-19 is spread via respiratory droplets, primarily person-to-person and can also be transmitted through tiny aerosol particles spread through the air. Therefore, it will be the responsibility of each and everyone in the condo unit to act responsibly and verify no one in the unit is sick or has any symtoms associated with Covid-19 before and during the trip. Ski Klub and its organizers will not be held responsible if anyone in your condo unit contracts Covid-19 before, during or after the trip.
As a further precaution, Ski Klub highly recommends all participants to be vaccinated before signing up for any Ski Klub trips/events. If you have been vaccinated, we recommend you bring your vaccination card.
4) Covid-19 can also be transmitted by asymptomatic individuals or individuals who are contagious, but show no Covid-19 symtoms. For a listing of Covid-19 symptoms, Click HERE. As an additional safety precaution, we highly recommend everyone in the condo unit to get tested for the coronavirus either through their doctor, place of work, or FREE from the state of New York (NY residents), Click HERE. It is recommended everyone in the condo unit get tested for the coronavirus before signing up for either trip and 72 hours before arrival at either trip. To avoid any types of issues while checking in at the lodging property, a negative coronavirus test may be required and a "Certificate of Compliance" based on your residency. Please review Jay Peak and Sugarloaf's restrictions and guidelines in addition to The State of Vermont, and Maine out of state residents guidelines listed below.
5) Although both resorts have implemented Covid-19 lodging sanitizing procedures, it is highly recommended you bring cleaning products from home to disinfect surfaces in the condo unit such as kitchen and bathroom areas. Lysol and Clorox wipes are recommended - Click HERE.
6) While at either resort, everyone will be required to follow all restrictions and guidelines set by each resort listed below. Wearing a mask will be mandatory at both resorts, especially while indoors. Social distancing (minimum of 6 feet) will also be mandatory at both resorts. Personal hygiene of washing your hands and not touching your face with unclean hands is common sense and should be praticed at all times.
7) Loading on lift chairs/gondolas: Both resorts will have guidelines in regards to loading on lift chairs and gondolas. We highly recommend ONLY loading on lift chairs/gondolas with your immediate family members/friends in the same condo unit.
8) Try to avoid going indoors at the base lodge for any types of meals or putting on, or taking off ski/snowboard boots. Put on/take off your ski/snowboard boots in your condo unit. If you need to use the restrooms, make sure you have your mask on and bring surgical gloves. Make sure you wash your hands and use hand sanitizers after leaving the restrooms.
9) We are highly discouraging any types of get togethers among condo units or having any types of "condo parties". This will increase your risk of contracting or possibly spreading the coronavirus not only to your condomates, but to your family and friends back home. Please act responsibly.
10) For all information on the coronavirus and additional safety measures, please visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Click HERE.
Below are Covid-19 information provided by Jay Peak and Sugarloaf resorts in addition to Covid-19 information provided by the State of Vermont and Maine.

In the event Ski Klub does not have a minimum of 20 particpants for the Jay Peak trip (on or before October 4) or 20 participants for the Sugarloaf trip (on or before October 10), Ski Klub will cancel both or either trip that did not meet the minimum 20 persons requirement.
