Jay Peak/Sugarloaf Resort COVID-19 Terms & Conditions
Due to Covid-19, Jay Peak and Sugarloaf Resorts are obligated to follow all county and state mandates in
addition to any federal mandates/guidelines. Ski Klub International is reiterating all restrictions and
guidelines imposed by Jay Peak and Sugarloaf Resorts, and their respective state's Covid-19 policies.
In order to offer group outings to both ski resorts, Ski Klub International is also following all
policies/conditions stated by Jay Peak and Sugarloaf Resorts, in addition to both of their respective
state's mandates/guidelines. Therefore, all Ski Klub members who participate on the Jay Peak trip or the
Sugarloaf trip agrees to all terms/conditions stated on this page, Ski Klub's website www.skiklub.us,
Covid-19, Membership, Conditions/Policies and Trip Insurance.
Jay Peak Ski Resort and Sugarloaf Ski Resort are separate entities. Each resort operates independently
from each other and each resort has it's own cancellation policy. Any cancellation by a Ski Klub member
will follow the cancellation policy in which the member paid and signed-up for. The financial outcome
(refunds/credits), if any, in any cancellation by a Ski Klub member will be determined by the ski resort.
As stated above, all Ski Klub members will need to agree to and abide by all terms/conditions stated
below and to all conditions/policies stated on Ski Klub's website as listed above. All members who plan to
participate on the Jay Peak or Sugarloaf trip must review the Covid-19 Terms & Conditions here and
above pages on Ski Klub's website, and take additional precautions to remain safe & healthy at both ski

Jay Peak Ski Resort Cancellation and Terms/Conditions:
If you are traveling from outside the State of Vermont, please take a look at guidelines and restrictions
that are put in place. The link for all necessary travel information can be found here :
**Please pay close attention to your residency on the map. If you're a non-Vermont resident and your
residency falls in the GREEN counties, you may enter Vermont without quaranting, if arriving in a
personal vehicle. If your residency is YELLOW or RED quarantine restrictions apply.
***Travelers arriving to Vermont in a personal vehicle, may complete either a 14-day quarantine or a
7-day quarantine followed by a negative test in their home state and enter Vermont without further
We don't recommend multiple families who are not of the same household sharing lodging
accommodations. If you plan to share accommodations, you will need to make sure everyone in the
lodging unit knows each other and socializes on a regular basis, but more importantly, each person in
the unit must practice due diligence to ensure no one in the unit is sick or has any symptoms associated
with Covid-19 before and during the trip.
All lodging guests are asked to fill out a Certificate of Compliance stating that all quarantine guidelines
have been met, and they have not shown any signs or symptoms that could be linked with COVID19.

This form will need to be filled out prior to your arrival and given to the Front Desk Staff.
**Cancellation: In the event Jay Peak Resort closes due to city, state or federal mandates/guidelines
associated with Covid-19 or closes voluntarily, a refund will be provided and the SEASON PASS
Promotion is VOIDED/CANCELLED. If the resort closure occurs while guests are at the resort, a partial
refund/credit will be provided and the SEASON PASS promotion is also VOIDED/CANCELLED.
**Jay peak will provide a refund if a guest cancels due to sickness/illness associated with Covid-19 or a
guest cannot travel due to city, state or federal mandates/guildelines associated with Covid-19. In both
cases, the SEASON PASS promotion is VOIDED/CANCELLED. Documentation will be required to verify
travel restrictions and/or a positive COVID-19 test for sickness/illness purposes in order to receive a
**Lodging Accommodation: Any individual cancellation affects all parties in the SAME lodging unit. If a
guest cancels, the cost of lodging will be revised to reflect the remaining guests in the unit. For example,
in a 2 bedroom unit, if 1 or 2 people cancels, the remaining guests in the unit can be moved to a smaller
lodging unit, provided its available, or the cost is revised among the remaining guests in the unit.
**Any individual cancellation on or before October 23, 2020, will receive a full refund. All
individual cancellations after October 23, 2020, full cancellation policies will apply.**
**If there are no travel restrictions and guests are NOT sick or have symptoms associated with
COVID-19, Jay Peak Resort will treat all cancellations as a "personal choice" and no
refunds/credits will be provided.** All promotions are voided/cancelled including season pass

UPDATED NOVEMBER 3, 2020: NY,NJ & CT residents are now required to get negative
Covid-19 test to avoid mandatory 14 days quarantine rule while in Maine. Currently, residents
of VT,NH & MA are exempt from testing and 14 days quarantine rule.
Non-Maine residents and residents NOT from any of the exempt states listed will be required to fill out the Certificate of
**Cancellation: In the event Sugarloaf Resort closes due to city, state or federal mandates/guidelines
associated with Covid-19 or closes voluntarily, a refund will be provided and all Promotions are
VOIDED/CANCELLED. If the resort closure occurs while guests are at the resort, a partial refund/credit
will be provided and all promotions are also VOIDED/CANCELLED.
**Any individual cancellation on or before October 23, 2020, will receive a full refund.
**Sugarloaf Resort "72 hours Cancel for Any Reason Package Credit: Cancellation for any
reason 72 hours prior to arrival at the ski resort on and after October 24, 2020, Sugarloaf
Resort will provide a Resort Package Credit (NOT a cash Refund) equal to the amount paid less
a cancellation fee to each person in the same cancellation accommodation unit.
In addition to the party who cancels, all individuals in the same accommodation unit must also
agree to cancel in order for everyone in the unit to receive a resort package credit less
cancellation fee. Resort Package Credit is valid for 1 year and will be applied to Ski Klub's 2021
Sugarloaf Group Trip. All resort package credits must be administered through Ski Klub
International. All Resort Package Credits NOT valid on any Sugarloaf Resort retail reservation.
All cancellation must be in writing and received by Ski Klub International 72 hours prior to
arrival at the resort.
**72 Hours Cancel for Any Reason Package Credit Fee: Lodging units of 1 bedroom or studios with
only 1 person, the cancellation fee is $150.00; with 2 or more persons the cancellation fee is $100 per
person. 2 Bedroom and larger units, the cancellation fee per person is $75.00.
Any cancellation within 72 hours prior to arrival will result in full forfeiture of all payments no
refunds/credits will be given.
